The Fishplate-Saddle Rail Light Mount

from $20.00

Have you used up all the mounts on the rear of your bike? Trying to hard-mount lights on the highest position you can for maximum visibility? Bought a pretty anodized light without checking if your new carbon-fibre graẽvæl race bike has any eyelets whatsoever, and now you’re worried you can’t be seen on your next brütal ride to the local coffee shop on your new bice? With the power of The Fishplate, you can mount a variety of lights to your saddle rails, from dynamo to battery powered, and get the cleanest possible install using the included mounting hardware.

These mounts are made out of UV resistant plastic, with stainless steel nuts bolts. We’ve tested these with a number of different lights, but with the included hardware, you should be able to mount anything that installs using an M5 or M4 bolt in any of the cardinal planes. You can run the mount in the lower position for more visibility, or flipped into the higher position to tuck the light up over bags or racks

These mounts require at least 8 mm of space between your seatpost clamp and the part of your saddle rails that curves up. Measure this from the start of the curve at the top of the rail, to the furthest aft-ward part of of the seatpost clamp.

What’s included:

1x Saddle Mount Clamp

2x M3 Stainless Bolts and Nuts

1x M4 Stainless Bolt

1x Horizontal Mount

1x Vertical Mount

and

1x Koma Light Mount

and/or

1x Busch & Müller μ (Micro) Taillight Direct Mount

and/or

1× 50mm spaced rack tail-light mount (Supernova E3 tested)

(Lights not included (duh))
